Calming Anxiety

Imagine this. Your kid is angry and stomping around and slamming doors. You tell your child to "calm down" but they say, "I don't know how to DO that!!!!!"

Maybe your child is feeling stressed and anxious.

Did you know Anxiety Disorder is very common? I was surprised to learn how many people have it! Maybe your child is one of them.

An estimated 7.1 percent of kids aged 3-17 years have diagnosed anxiety, and around 40 million adults have anxiety. That's a lot of people dealing with stress!

When you tell your son or daughter to "calm down!" maybe they don't know how! Fortunately, there are many tools and techniques to help them calm down or reduce stress.

Child therapists offer many different ideas to help children "calm their body down." One of the things many of them recommend is some type of squeeze ball.

In "A Child Therapist's Favorite Resources for Calming Anxiety in Children" the author lists one of the quick tips for calming anxiety as "Squeeze Something" (play dough, clay, silly putty, your fists, a stress ball).

The Essential Squeeze is a great tool for helping your child reduce stress and anxiety. It's portable, so you can have it at home or carry it wherever you go. It's all natural and it has no parts that can get lost or break. It also has an extra-special ingredient to help calm and relax: the scent of an essential oil you choose.

Get the Essential Squeeze today, so the next time you say, "Calm Down!" you'll be able to help your child do exactly that.

Stay chill my friends,

Kaden
